Do we need internet in the room?

When there is a connection, everything is saved straight away. When there is none, you carry on: the changes stay on the computer and go up on their own as soon as the network is back. No tournament ever stops.

Can it be installed like a program?

Yes. In Chrome or Edge just use «Install» in the address bar; on iPhone and iPad «Share → Add to Home Screen». You get an icon like a program, it opens full screen without bars and it opens again even with no network.

Does it work on Mac, Windows and iPad?

Yes: it is a website, it opens in any recent browser. Nothing to install, no macros to enable, no antivirus to argue with.

Are the rules the same as BurracoManager for Excel?

Yes. The tournament engine was taken from the 12,341 lines of the Excel program: VP tables, Mitchell movement, final seating, the sitting-out pair, prizes and technical prize. It is tested with tens of thousands of checks and thousands of simulated tournaments.

Where do the players’ data end up?

On servers in Europe. Each club sees only its own tournaments. The live standings stay off until the director turns them on, and can show shortened names.

Can I have my club’s name and logo?

Accepted Answer

The club name appears on printouts, on the room screen and in the live standings with every plan. The custom logo is included in the Club Pro and Association plans.

And if I don’t want to subscribe?

When the trial is over, without a subscription you cannot open new tournaments, but nothing is lost: the tournaments you played stay readable and exportable. And the Excel program is always there. When you want to start again, you choose a plan and everything picks up where it left off.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer, a year or a month at a time, and you get a receipt made out to the club. No automatic charge: you never need a credit card, not even for the trial.

Do we need a phone on every table?

No: the table captain’s is enough, and only if you want to use it. Whoever has none brings the slip to the referee as always, in the same tournament and with no setting to change.

Do the players have to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No, and they do not even have to sign up. They scan the QR code and a page opens: the table captain gets the table’s page, everyone else the live standings.

And if the table captain mistypes?

Until the referee has confirmed they can correct it and send again, and the opposing pair confirms again. After that the referee decides: they type the right score, and the correction stays in the log.

Do the cards have to be reprinted every round?

No: one card per table is good for the whole tournament, even when the pairs move. Once the tournament is over those QR codes open nothing.

Can a score end up in the wrong round?

No. The score carries with it the round and the pairs the table captain was looking at: if the referee has closed the round in the meantime, it is refused.

Do the live standings show everybody’s name?

Only if the club turns them on, and they can show shortened names (ROSSI M.). There is also “where do I play?”: you type your surname and find the table.

On servers in Europe. Each club sees only its own tournaments and its own address book; we do not use your data for anything else.

Can I take it away?

Yes, whenever you like: one file with tournaments, pairs, scores, prizes, address book and imported history. It is in Settings, and you do not have to ask us.

Who gets the result emails?

Only the players who asked for them: the consent is recorded with the date and how it was given, and every email has a link to stop receiving them.

What happens if I close the account?

You delete it from your profile, without writing to us. If you own a club, another owner has to be named first, so the club’s tournaments are not lost.

Is the Excel version still available?

Not any more: we do not give it to new clubs. Whoever has it can carry on using it, and for the renewal it is enough to write to us: we send the code and the updated file.

What do I need to use it?

Microsoft Excel (Windows or Mac). No installation: it is a single file to open, with macros enabled.

How many tables, and which movements?

Up to 200 tables per tournament. Mitchell and Danish movements, chosen by the director once a round is over, with the sitting-out pair handled.

In the Excel program the custom version stays with whoever already has it. In the online service the club name appears on printouts, the room screen and the live standings with every plan, and the logo from the Club Pro and Association plans.

Yes, whenever you like: the rules are the same, and the history in your Excel file (attendance, placings, membership cards) imports in a minute.

Is there a version to use with no account and no internet?

Yes: the program in a single file, which opens in the browser with a double click and keeps the tournaments on your computer. It is not a free download: you ask the team for it, as with the Excel version.
