A QR card on every table. The table captain sends the score from their phone, the opposing pair confirms, the referee decides. Meanwhile the players follow the standings on their own phone.
Nothing to install for anybody: the phones open a web page, and that is all.
The table card
| Wrong round | The score carries the round and the pairs the table captain was looking at: if the referee has closed the round in the meantime, it is refused. Never a score on the next round’s table. |
| Empty confirmations | The opposing pair confirms only the score in front of them: if it has changed in the meantime, the confirmation does not count. |
| Second thoughts at the table | A score the referee has already confirmed cannot be changed from the phone any more. |
| Impossible numbers | Scores out of range or not multiples of 5 are refused, from the phone as from the referee’s computer. |
| Reused cards | A table’s QR code is good for that tournament, for every round: no reprinting, and once the tournament is over it opens nothing. |
| Disputes | Every score and every correction stays in the tournament log, with the time and who made it. |
The referee carries on all the same: the changes stay on their computer and go up by themselves when the network is back. The table captains’ phones need a connection only at the moment they send the score; if they have none, you go back to the usual way — the slip of paper to the referee, who types it.
The room on the phone and the live standings are included in the Club Pro and Association plans.
The preview shows the three screens side by side: the table captain’s phone, the opponents’ one and the live standings. You can send a made-up score and see what happens.
